The April 2023 EquipmentWatch Market Report is available now. While we’ve seen slowing activity for some time now, activity levels were down dramatically for all equipment types, possibly reflecting rising interest rates as well as ongoing cost and supply chain pressures.

Some notable highlights from this month’s report:

• Average FMV for Compact Track Loaders, Skid Steer Loaders, and Crawler Mounted Compact Excavators rose by 9.9%, outpacing the construction equipment sector as a whole.
• Month-over-month resale activity for Lift/Access equipment slowed by 33.5%.
• Agriculture equipment resale activity was down by 29.1% compared to February 2022, indicating that an expected slowdown may have arrived.
