Rental Decision Point – Long Term Fleet Planning

Building on the Rental Decision Point articles and downloadable Resource Guide, we have built a new Excel-based prototype tool that allows a user to understand the optimal time to use a rented machine vs. an owned machine, based on varying levels of usage per year.

Rental Analysis for Projects – Short Term Fleet Planning

We have built a new Excel-based prototype tool that allows a user to complete a full analysis of optimal machine use for an upcoming project. For each machine in a supplied schedule, the user is asked to supply days onsite and hours of machine use, after which a rent vs. use owned recommendation is given.

Rental Gross Margin – Rental Profitability Analysis

The traditional ARA metrics focus primarily on revenue understanding, yet no insights into actual profitability per rented hour exists. We have built a new Excel-based prototype which allows a user to identify the actual profitability per rented machine hour.

NOTE: this prototype does require web access to calculate cost per hour. A future BETA version is scheduled that will automate that process, pending user feedback.
