Login Troubleshooting

Having trouble login in or resetting your password? Please follow the instructions below. Please take the time and carefully walk through these instructions.

Once you have attempted the instructions and if you are still having login issues, please send detailed information to [email protected]

How do I reset my password?

On the Sign in Screen and Click forgot password.

  • Step 1
    • Click Login and click FORGOT YOUR PASSWORD in login modal
    • Or click FORGOT PASSWORD in red banner at top of page

  • Step 2
    • Enter in username email address in popup modal (must be valid username and email)
    • Click RESET PASSWORD button

  • Step 3
    • Check email (will send to username email address you entered) with email subject line
    • You will receive an email reset password from [email protected]
    • Follow instruction in email by clicking hyperlink or copy and paste into web browser

Note: Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge are the recommended web browsers for accessing EquipmentWatch application. All other browsers are not actively supported at this time.

  • Step 4
    • Link will open webpage Change Your Password
    • Enter in new password twice – must match
    • Click RESET PASSWORD
    • User sees Password Changed screen and user will receive email with subject line “EquipmentWatch Password Reset” – showing it was successfully created

What if I do not receive the Reset My Password email?

What if I reset my password and receiving an error message?

If you did not receive the ‘Reset your password’ email, the first step is to click the F5 key on your keyboard to refresh the web browser.

Please note – Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge are the recommended web browsers for accessing EquipmentWatch application. All other browsers are not actively supported at this time.

If that does not work, see below Section A: Google Chrome or Section B: Microsoft Edge for instructions on how to clear your cache and alternatives.

 

Section A: Google Chrome

A. Google Chrome: Clear your Cache and Browser History

  • Click the 3 Dots in the top right-hand corner (vertical)
  • Click Settings and then select Privacy and Security

  • Click Clear Browsing Data
    • Select Advanced tab
    • Select Time Range = All Time
    • We recommend unchecking Passwords and other sign-in data and Autofill form data
  • Click Clear Data button

  • Close out all Google Chrome webpages
  • Then Relaunch Google Chrome.
  • Sign into EquipmentWatch by manually typing in your username and password.

Note: if you choose not to clear your data, you may need to update Autofill in Google Settings for the website, see section C below for instructions.

B. Google Chrome: Incognito Window, Alternative to Clearing Cache and Browser History

  • In Google Chrome, click the 3 Dots in the upper-right corner of your browser window and click New Incognito Window.

C. Google Chrome: “Autofill Passwords” to Update EquipmentWatch Password

If you use Google Chrome Autofill you will want to update the EquipmentWatch Login Password there too.

  • Click the 3 Dots in the top right-hand corner (vertical).
  • Click Settings then select Autofill and select Password Manager
  • Under Saved Passwords, find the EquipmentWatch site you bookmarked.
  • Click the arrow for the Password details .
    • Note: You might be required to sign into Google Chrome depending on your company’s security practices.

  • Click the Edit Button and update your Password.
  • Click the Save

 

 Section B: Microsoft Edge

A. Microsoft Edge: Clear your Cache and Browser History

  • In Microsoft Edge, click the 3 Dots in the top right-hand corner (horizontal).
  • Click Settings and then select Privacy, search and services
  • Click Clear Browsing data
  • Select Clear browsing data now – Choose what to clear

  • Time Range
    • Make sure Time Range = All Time
    • We recommend unchecking Passwords and other sign-in data and Autofill form data

  • Click Clear Now button
  • Close out all Microsoft EDGE webpages
  • Then Relaunch Microsoft EDGE.
  • Sign into EquipmentWatch by manually typing in your username and password.

Note: if you choose not to clear your data, you may need to update Autofill in Google Settings for the website, see section C below for instructions.

 

B. Microsoft Edge: Incognito Window, Alternative to Clearing Cache and Browser History

  • In Microsoft Edge, click the 3 Dots in the upper-right corner of your browser window and select New InPrivate window

C. Microsoft Edge: “Saved Passwords” to Update EquipmentWatch Password

If you use Microsoft Edge Autofill, you will want to update the EquipmentWatch Login Password there too.

  • In Microsoft Edge, click the 3 Dots in the top right-hand corner (horizontal).
  • Select Settings, then click Profiles and select Passwords

  • Under Saved Passwords, find the EquipmentWatch site you Favorite.
  • Click the ellipse … “more actions”
  • Select Edit

  • Change Password

  • Click Done button
